Teraco, an African vendor-neutral data centre provider, has announced it will provide a support grant valued at R7.5m to the South African Broadband Education Networks (Saben) via the Teraco Connect Foundation. Over the next five years, Teraco will partner with Saben to support the national drive to end bandwidth poverty among South Africa's schools and public TVET colleges.

Bellavista S.H.A.R.E., a division of Bellavista School, has partnered with the MTN Foundation and Curious Learning to launch the Feed the Monster app, which presents reading instruction in a variety of different languages, to the South African market. The award-winning app was created through a joint venture between the Apps Factory, the Center for Educational Technology (CET) and The International Rescue Committee (IRC).
