Africa Teen Geeks (ATG) in partnership with the UNICEF and University of Johannesburg will be running a National Tutoring Campaign (NTC) to support Department of Basic Education (DBE) key initiatives aimed at increasing the pass rate of 2021 school calendar year. Covid-19 continues to impact on learning and teaching, this is highlighted by the decline in school attendance rates which is reported to have dropped from a high of 98% in Government High Schools (GHS) 2018 to 94% in April/May 2021. According to NIDS-CRAM findings, about 650,000 to 750,000 children aged 7 to 17 years old were not attending school by May 2021.

Founded in 2002, Northlink College is one of 50 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in South African which is governed by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
