Africa Teen Geeks in partnership with the Department of Education and UNICEF have launched a ground-breaking initiative to help close the digital education gap in South Africa. 2,000 learners from 1,200 schools will be trained by the Johannesburg based ATG, Africa's largest computer science non-profit organisation. Those teachers will then implement their newly acquired digital skills into the curriculum and build the IT potential of 1.2 million school children across the country.

The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) is excited to announce that a new VUT Council was inducted on the 12th and 13th August 2021 and that we are no longer under administration.
