The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) has a formally constituted University Council. The induction of the new Council commenced on Thursday, 12 August, was concluded on Friday, 13 August 2021. The outgoing Administrator Professor Ihron Rehsburg facilitated the process and swore in Ms Refilwe Buthelezi, as the chairperson and Professor Nicholas Morgan as the deputy chairperson of the council.
